More SSS Encouraging Words Release Inspiration

Hi! As promised, I’m back today with more inspiration using the products from the Encouraging Words Release from Simon Says Stamp. THIS die is my favorite from the release because it is my belief that Kindness Matters.

I paired it up with THIS rainbow die and transformed it into a cloud by trimming it a bit with my scissors. I swiped each layer of the rainbow using Distress Oxide Inks. For the background, I used THIS and THIS stencil to easily create clouds. You can see the whole panel on my Instagram HERE.

As I was creating the card, I couldn’t get the design quite right. I struggled with it till I discovered how easy it is to turn one card into two when using symmetrical shapes, like a rainbow. I cut it down the center (as well as the cloud panel) to create two cards. You could do this with any symmetrical shape and who doesn’t like to get a bonus card with minimal work!?

I finished off the card by mounting the pieces on to one of THESE note cards and adding some of THIS to the sentiment to make it stand out.

I think THIS die is a must have from the collection.

I hope this inspires you to create two cards instead of one with your symmetrical shapes.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.

Very clever using the sentiment as a cloud! I love how you made 2 cards by cutting the large section in half!
