Stampin’ and Scrapin’ Vol. 2

Hello. I’m back with another installment of a new feature on my blog called, Stampin’ and Scrapin’. Click HERE if you want to check out the previous post. I recently went on a family trip to Destin and I wanted to preserve some of the memories. Here is the two page layout…

I do a lot of pocket scrapbooking to stay caught up with my memory keeping and took inspiration from a pocket page that was made up entirely of 3×4 spaces. I have a lot of vacation photos, so I wanted to feature as many photos as I could on a two page layout. I was able to get 16 photos included by using THIS die to cut them all down to a 3×4 size. I mounted them all on two pieces of 12×12 kraft cardstock and replaced two picture spots with stamped cards.

The first card was stamped with THIS stamp from Hero Arts with THIS ink. I used the sentiment from THIS stamp set and colored in the state we are from and the state we visited and included small hearts to bring attention to them…

For the second stamped piece…

I stamped the sun from THIS stamp set with THIS ink and the sentiments from THIS set.

I finished off the layout by creating my own sticker letters by die-cutting THESE alphabet dies, coloring them with one of THESE markers, and running them through THIS machine to turn them into stickers. I applied some of THIS on top for some shine.

I hope this has inspired you to try including stamping in your next scrapbook layout. It’s a great way to stretch the use of your stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
