SSS Cherished Release

Hello. The new Cherished release from Simon Says Stamp is live!

This release is full of amazing goodies and I used several to create these thank you cards….

I was thrilled to see THIS adorable panda stamp set. My son’s school mascot is the panda so I knew it would be perfect to use for those end of the year thank you cards to teachers. I stamped the panda image several times and fussy cut them out. Can I just say how much I love that Panda’s require no additional coloring! I’m not very good at coloring and I love that this image is a stamp and done. 🙂

For the background, I stamped the heart border from THIS cute set along the bottom of a few pieces of THIS and THIS cardstock using my MISTI. The MISTI is so handy when stamping a background like this because you can mount the border one time and then shift your paper slightly and stamp again, moving your way up the paper. Since I had the supplies out, I made multiple cards. The SSS ink colors I used were…Teeny Bikini, Hot Lips, Apricot, Mint Candy, and Scuba. I die-cut each panel using THIS new wonky rectangle die and stamped a sentiment from THIS new stamp set. I finished off the card with a heart cut from THIS die set. I added some sparkle to the hearts using THIS shimmer pen.

BONUS CARD
I got carried away and created another panda card to share. This time I have the panda holding an envelope from THIS set that coordinates with a greeting from the same set….

I cut THIS new heart die from vellum to a add a bit of interest…
