Hi. The school year is winding down and I wanted to share a teacher gift idea that I’m giving to my son’s preschool teachers…
This basket is a summer survival kit and it includes…
-Flower canvas bag (purchased at Target)
-Beach Towel (purchased at Target)
-Nail Polish (purchased at Target)
-Small Fan (purchased at Dollar Tree)
-Water Sprayer (purchased at Target)
-Candy (purchased at Target)
-Water Bottle (with Lemonade Drink Packet inside) (purchased at Target)
-Gift Card to Frozen Yogurt Shop (purchased at Orange Leaf)
-Polka Dot Canvas Bag- “Color Me” Card Kit (I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire’s idea HERE and used THESE cards to put inside as well as markers, envelopes, and postage stamps.)
I also created a shaker tag to adorn the baskets….
I cut 8 tags from THIS cardstock using THIS tag die. I stamped the tag with the summer definition stamp from THIS stamp set using THIS ink for a tone-on-tone look. I die-cut a circle from all of the tags using THIS die to create a window and white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS set along the bottom of the tag. I added acetate on top of each circle and stamped the flip flop image from THIS set on top of the acetate using THIS ink. I placed sequins on top of the acetate on the back piece and adhered the decorated tag on top using some of THIS strong adhesive. I adhered the tags on the basket handles with some ribbon.
I hope this inspires you to make a summer survival kit. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

What a totally awesome idea. Those teachers will be so chuffed to get it. I will have to remember this idea in another 6 months when we break up for summer holidays here in Oz. Thanks for sharing 🙂 cheers, Marie

As a former teacher, I give this a HUGE seal of approval! And those tags are SO cute.
