Adding Dimension to Background Stamps

Hello and welcome. Today’s card features how to add dimension to intricate background stamps…

THIS new background from Simon Says Stamp’s Cherished Release is stunning. I used my MISTI to stamp it five separate times onto THIS paper and white heat embossed each one. I used one layer for the base piece and then cut out different sections of  the remaining four pieces. I used THIS foam tape to add dimension between each layer…
I cut a heart for the center using one of THESE dies and white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS set. I finished off the card by adding some colored pearls. I also sprayed the whole piece heavily with THIS shimmer spray.
I hope this inspires you to try this simple technique to add dimension to your background stamps.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
