1 Stamp Set 5 Ways-Day Three

Hi there. I thought it would be fun to do something different on my blog. I want to feature 1 stamp set  and show 5 different ways to use it other than on a card.

I’m featuring THIS stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Today is Day Three and I’m sharing how to create a coloring table runner, perfect for any kids table…

I placed a straw dispenser filled with colored pencils on the table…

My little guy couldn’t wait to start coloring and the straw dispenser was a huge hit!…

(Excuse the p.j.’s…I was photographing this first thing in the morning)
To create this coloring table runner, I cut a long piece of paper from a children’s art paper roll and stamped the images from the stamp set repeatedly, creating a graffiti-like pattern . The images in this set is perfect for coloring since there are a lot of open areas. I filled in any gaps with the small heart images.
You can use this idea with any stamp set. This table runner idea is perfect for Birthday Parties and keeps the kiddos entertained while guests arrive/waiting for food. It’s basically a giant coloring page.
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back with another idea for day four.

Fantastic idea! Love this, it may be my favourite of the week as it's just so simple but there are hours of colouring fun for the kids 🙂

I love this idea!! Every season you could do a new one for the kids to color! Love it!! Very creative!! If my kids were little I would so do this, so I guess I will have to wait until grandkids finally come along, hahaha!

What a great idea! I love the straw holder for storing colored pencils – so much better than the ziploc baggie I use. 🙂
