Fish Shaker Thank You Cards

Hello. My little guy recently celebrated his 5th Birthday. He wanted to go swimming for his party since his theme was Finding Nemo/Finding Dory….

I wanted to create a few special thank you cards for the guests…

I thought THIS stamp and die set would be perfect for the theme so I transformed the images to Dory and Nemo with a little Copic Coloring…

You can see it in action on my Instagram HERE.

I created the backgrounds by applying THIS and THIS Distress Ink on to THIS craft sheet. I spritzed the ink with water and swiped a piece of THIS cardstock through it. After drying it, I spritzed more water drops on top to resemble the look of water. I die-cut the panels using THIS die.

For the fish bowls, I sandwiched a piece of THIS clear string between each fish image so they would suspend and look as if they are swimming. I used THIS powder bag around the edges of the bowl and fish to remove any stick and then poured in some of THESE Prills to resemble the rocks at the bottom of a fish bowl. I adhered a piece of acetate on top and then adhered some of THESE clear droplets to resemble bubbles and the treasure chest from the stamp set. I die-cut the fish bowl again out of white cardstock to give a finished look and hide any adhesive.

I hope this inspires you to create some shaker thank you cards for your party guests.
