Repeating Stamped Images

Hi there. Today’s card uses THIS adorable stamp set from the February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. The kit sold out so fast, but the products are available for individual purchase.

I stamped the coffee cup image several times on THIS cardstock and THIS patterned paper. After cutting out the images and paper piecing the patterned pieces on, I colored the lids using my Copic markers and stamped the faces from the stamp set on each cup. I adhered each cup on to a strip of black cardstock cut with THIS die. It’s a banner die but the coffee cup covers the angle portion at one of the ends. I used it to get the stitching detail on the top and bottom. It’s a great way to stretch your dies. I added THIS to the top of the cups for some shine.

For the background, I used THIS die since it reminded me of bubbles. I adhered all the pieces on to a white card base. For the inside…

I wanted to continue the design to the inside since I was giving a gift card. I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the stamp set on a piece of acetate, creating a window to see that a gift card was inside. I used THIS die to create the slit for the gift card to slide into.

I hope this inspires you to try stamping an image multiple times. Before I go, I have more inspiration for you…

TAYLOR’S TAKE
I also wanted to share a card from my 13 year old niece using the same stamp set. (If you’re new to my blog, click HERE to learn more about Taylor’s Take.)

She was also inspired by the stamp set to create a cup card….

She stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on the inside…

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
