Snowflake Shaker Card

Hello. Thanks for stopping by today. I wanted to make some special thank you cards to send to a few friends and family to say thank you for the holiday gifts they gave us. Shaker cards take a bit more time than a typical card, so I like to create them when I want to go the extra mile.

I started off by white heat embossing a sentiment from THIS favorite stamp set of mine on to a strip of blue cardstock. I die-cut THIS snowflake out of THIS glitter paper and adhered it to a circle cut with THIS die. I added a bit of THIS distress ink around the edges to make it pop.

I used THIS die to create a frame for the shaker. I cut it from white cardstock and white fun foam. I adhered the white fun foam piece directly to the card base using THIS adhesive. I rubbed the edges good with THIS powder tool to prevent any static and added THIS sequin mix inside. I adhered a piece of acetate on top and then the cardstock frame on top to hide all the adhesive.

Like I mentioned, THIS is a favorite stamp set of mine. If you want to see other examples I’ve shared in the past using it, click HERE and HERE.

Have a great day!
