I Love Neat & Tangled- Day Three

Hi there. Here is my project for Day Three of I Love Neat & Tangled week...

I wanted to create some simple Christmas tags using THIS cute stamp set. I die-cut eight tags using THIS die and THIS paper. I did eight tags so I could adhere a blank one to the back of the tag to make it more sturdy and have a place to write a message. I stamped the images using my MISTI with THIS black ink. I colored in the images with THESE colored pencils. I blended out each color using THIS blender pencil.

Even though these tags are simple, I wanted to add some finishing touches. I added glossy accents to the Christmas lights and the top of the North Pole sign. I also added white dots (hard to see in the photograph) to the snowman tag with THIS white pen. I also used THIS sparkle pen to add some shine to the snow. I finished off the tags with some twine.
These tags took very little time to make and will make any gift packaging extra special.

I Love Neat & Tangled- Day Two

Hello. I'm back for Day Two of the I love Neat & Tangled company spotlight week. (You can click HERE for Day One if you missed it.)

For today's project...

I created a clean and simple card. I stamped the images from THIS adorable set using THIS ink on to a sheet of THIS cardstock. After coloring the images in, I used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the background, I die-cut THIS die on to a piece of THIS cardstock. I lifted the die out of place and applied some watercolor using THIS and THIS distress ink. I pressed some ink on to an acrylic block, added some water with THIS and used a paint brush to quickly apply color. I stamped a coordinating sentiment on the other panel using the MISTI and adhered the images on top. I finished off the card by applying some glossy accents to the apple image and rounding the bottom corners.

I Love Neat & Tangled- Day One

Hello and welcome to another company spotlight week. This week I will feature projects used with Neat and Tangled products. I'm a big fan of not only their charming style , but the owner as well. Danielle is a class act. I've had the pleasure of spending some time with her at craft retreats and to run the Little Tangles Challenge Blog. Great products. Great people. You can learn more about Neat and Tangled HERE.

For today's project...

I wanted to create some quick and easy note cards that I can use with the Elf on the Shelf. My little guy is four and isn't quite ready for this yet. However, I'm determined to be prepared for next year. I stamped the adorable elf image from THIS set on to several sheets of THIS cardstock. Using my MISTI made the process super easy.

After stamping the image, I quickly colored in the images using THESE markers. I used THIS T-ruler and drew a black line for the elf to "sit" on and give me some definition on where to write.

These note cards are quick to make and great to have on hand for planning Elf on the Shelf ideas.
