Hello. Today’s card uses goodies from THIS January Simon Says Stamp Card Kit…
I was immediately drawn to the colored parchment papers in the kit and decided to stamp the gorgeous snowflake images on to a piece using the delicata pigment ink from the kit. I added white embossing powder on top and heat set it with my heat gun (after it was good and hot to prevent any warping).
I knew I wanted to make a shaker card but wanted to do a different take on one so I laid out some of the sequin mix from the kit on top of a white note card and then adhered the colored parchment paper piece on top using THIS strong adhesive. I die-cut a frame from one of the patterned papers using THESE dies to hide the adhesive.
Even though this is a flat shaker card, the bits still have room to move around a little and I love that all the sequins don’t settle at the bottom. It is a simple card with a big impact.
You can find more about the kit HERE.
I hope I’ve inspired you to create a flat shaker card. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pretty card – flat shakers are a great alternative I think and I like that all the sequins don't fall to the bottom as they don't have as much room to move. This is also a great way to send an impactful card with less postage charges 🙂
