I Love Neat & Tangled- Day Four

Hello. Today’s project is part of the latest challenge over on the Little Tangles Challenge Blog. If you’re unfamiliar with this blog…it’s the sister blog to the Neat and Tangled Blog. We feature one challenge every month and we would LOVE for you to play along. This month’s challenge is a color combo…

I love silver and gold together. I think it’s so classy. I die-cut THIS and THIS die from some foil cardstock to create these cards…
I wanted to create a shaped cards so I used the largest banner in the die set as a card base.

I used the negative pieces from the first card to make the second card. No wasted pieces with this inlaid die-cutting technique.

I also wanted to create a pocket to hold a gift card or cash. So I die-cut another banner for each and adhered it down only on the two sides and the bottom to create a pocket for the gift to sit in…

I hope this inspires you to create a shaped card and/or gift card holder. Like I mentioned, we would love to have you play along with the challenge. You can find all the information HERE
Leave a comment below to be entered to win a great prize that I will reveal at the END of this company spotlight week. I will be choosing one winner from all the comments left on all of the posts this week. I will announce a winner next Monday, December 5th.

I've been nervous about using foil but this looks easy enough to do. Thanks for sharing and the card is sleek! (That's a good thing, btw)
