Clean and Simple Challenge

Hello and welcome. I’m back today with the card I created for the latest Little Tangles Challenge

I have to admit when I was creating these challenges, this one scared me the most. LOL For some reason, I have a really hard time keeping a card clean and simple. I like to keep adding details and never know when to stop.
For my card…

I die-cut THESE alphabet dies from a piece of watercolor cardstock. I kept the letters in place so it would be easier to apply color with THESE markers. I added a bit of color to the top and bottom of each letter and then pulled the color down to the rest of the letter using water and a paintbrush. I adhered the letters down using THIS adhesive. I added a small heart at the end of the sentiment from THIS die set.

I wanted the sentiment to be the star of the show, but I wanted to add some interest to the background. I used THIS stencil and THIS embossing pad in my die-cut machine to emboss the pattern of the stencil. Here’s a closer look…

I finished off the card by die-cutting the panel with THIS die and adhering it to a white note card.
I hope you can join us for this challenge. The winner gets a Neat and Tangled stamp set of their choice. All the details can be found HERE
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
