Happy World Card Making Day (& GIVEAWAY)

Hello and Happy World Card Making Day! I have a different type of post today. In honor of WCMD, I wanted to share how I display the cards I receive from friends and how I store the cards I create.

I display the cards I receive from friends on top of my die-cutting table. I placed a piece of plexi glass on top to protect the cards and make it a workable surface…

Aren’t my friends talented!? I treasure these cards and it’s such a fun way to display them. I like that I can rotate them whenever I receive new cards. You could also do this on top of a desk and place a piece of glass on top.
I also wanted to share how I store the cards I create. I organize them by theme in a metal filing cabinet under my die-cutting station…
I share more about this in a quick video HERE on Instagram.
Cards are not the only thing you can display. I previously displayed my scrapbook pages…

Oh I love how you display your cards! I would never had thought of that.
I don't have any cardmaking supplies yet…so I'm going to have to celebrate virtually.

What a beautiful room to create it. I wish I had time to create for World Cardmaking Day but I had a house full of guests. Good times were had but not creating.

This is a lovely way to display your cards Heather – and I recognise a few of them too from Jennifer. I had a busy weekend with family over for the Ryder Cup so no cardmaking at all for me on World Cardmaking Day – honestly, didn't they think of that when they scheduled the Ryder Cup?! I shall make up for it this week as I am doing the new Online Card Classes class….

Thank you for sharing your craft room and storage ideas with us – beautiful!

WOW Heather ! Your craft room space seems so huge and so cosy ! I love your die-cutting table, it's really beautiful ! And what a smart idea how you display your crafty friends cards ! I love it ! I spent my WCMD making cards (2 cards), storing my cards precisely and blogging (I'm so late in my comments to you all, lovely crafters !). Before storing my cards I wrap them with the corresponding enveloppe in a translucent paper. They are stored in a box by themes. I am still far from having a complete metal filing cabinet like you ! ;-))
Thanks so much for the tour of your craft room !

WOW – what a WONDERFUL way to display these beautiful cards – LOVE IT – such an honour for your crafty friends too!!!
WCMD was spent as a mixture of blog hopping, making cards and a little crafty shopping. As for displaying my precious handmade cards, I have them on display in our living room for as long as I can, so that I get to enjoy them every day, then, (I feel terrible confessing this) they move to a storage container that gets visited every now and then 🙂
THANK YOU for sharing and the chance to win, wish my crafting table wasn't the dining table, I think yours is AMAZING.
PS – I'm international, so I understand if you decide to not include me in the prize draw.

For some reason I am always busy with other things on the first weekend in October so I rarely get to participate in World Card Making Day. So I look at each day as World Card Making Day. Any day is a good day to make cards! I store my cards in a box with dividers for each kind of card. You obviously make many more cards than I do. One of these days I hope to step it up a bit! Thanks for a tour of your space.

Yesterday I spent a couple of hours trying to get some color layering stamps to line up right. I failed. Back to the drawing board!

I try not to store mine but send or give a set to a friend or someone who needs some kindness.

I store the cards I make in a storage tote with dividers for different occasions, but I need a bigger tote! Better yet, I just need to send out more cards! Love your card display.
