Happy World Card Making Day (& GIVEAWAY)

Hello and Happy World Card Making Day! I have a different type of post today. In honor of WCMD, I wanted to share how I display the cards I receive from friends and how I store the cards I create.

I display the cards I receive from friends on top of my die-cutting table. I placed a piece of plexi glass on top to protect the cards and make it a workable surface…

Aren’t my friends talented!? I treasure these cards and it’s such a fun way to display them. I like that I can rotate them whenever I receive new cards. You could also do this on top of a desk and place a piece of glass on top.
I also wanted to share how I store the cards I create. I organize them by theme in a metal filing cabinet under my die-cutting station…
I share more about this in a quick video HERE on Instagram.
Cards are not the only thing you can display. I previously displayed my scrapbook pages…

Trying to clean my craft area for World Card Day. I haven't devised how I am going to display the cards I am collecting. I actually would like to have a whole wall devoted to the creations. Putting them on the table top covered with glass like you did is a great idea.

Mine are sadly all in a box (the ones I make). I don't receive any handmade cards as I don't have many scrappy friends. I LOVE your idea of putting them under the glass though!!

Your crafting room is fabulous and I love your idea of displaying cards under plexiglass on your desk. I like to display my cards in the kitchen…where I'm mostly at during the day. Happy WCMD!

We were busy yesterday with Fall activities and so no crafting for me. But I store my cards in a plastic bin divided up into categories. I try to make cards and just send them out right away but the others I store in this way.

That is a really cool idea. I don't really do anything interesting with my cards, just keep them in a shoebox bin. I didn't go to a card making party today.

Happy World Card making day! Today I made some Holiday cards! I made these cute Christmas cards with deer and penguins can't wait to post it online. I display my cards along my window sill so when I am crafting I can look up and be inspired by them. Have fun crafting!

What a great way to display the cards!! I love it! I display my cards (not very many since I don't have a lot of crafty friends) on a picture frame or on a memory board my mom made for me.

Today's plans include making some Christmas cards (and doing a wee bit of online shopping getting supplies for favors for a colleague's upcoming baby shower).

Ooh, amazing room! I pin cards to a bulletin board by my craft desk, and then I store cards in a bin, in no particular order. I am off to make some cards after a lazy morning and my son's football game.

Today I treated myself with some patterned paper sets and some stickers. My friend is a designer and very good with making furniture with wood made me a special kind of shelf where I put the cards from my friends, but I just love the way you preserve yours! Happy crafting
