I Love Lawn Fawn- Day One

Hello! This is going to be a fun week because I’m doing another company spotlight. If you’re new to my blog, this is where I showcase a company whose products and people I love for a whole week. (You can click HERE to see a previous company spotlight with Hero Arts.)

This week it’s all about Lawn Fawn. Not only does Lawn Fawn have the cutest stamps around, but Kelly Marie Alvarez (Lawn Fawn’s founder) is an absolute ray of sunshine. I’ve had the pleasure of spending some time with her at a few craft retreats and it’s impossible not to smile around her. You can find more about Lawn Fawn HERE.

For Day One, I wanted to share a few cards I created for my son’s preschool teachers. You know how much I love spoiling teachers and THIS set is perfect for that…

I stamped the apples using THIS tool with THIS ink and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I colored the images using THESE markers. I used THESE dies to die-cut the card bases out of THIS cardstock and also THIS patterned paper. I stamped the sentiments and cut them out using THESE banner dies.

I adhered all the pieces down adding fun foam behind the basket of apples for dimension. I only have the 12 pack of the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers so I waited till the first layer was dry and went back in with the same color to add shading. I love the depth it gives and the illusion that I used multiple colors for shading…

I continued the theme to the inside of the card where I stamped a greeting and apple image…

That’s it for today. Thanks so much for joining me. I’ll be back tomorrow for Day Two of I Love Lawn Fawn Week!
