Back to School

Hi there. So...my little guy started preschool yesterday. The one thing that is keeping me from completely losing it is that I really like his teachers. Teachers work so hard and I believe they need to be spoiled often! I've been making lots of cards to have on hand throughout the year to give to his teacher and aides.

To create this card, I cut THIS rainbow die from THIS cardstock and did some watercoloring on it with THESE Zig markers. I die-cut THIS teacher die from three pieces of black cardstock and adhered them together to create an embellishment. The clouds were die-cut from THIS die and that sweet face was created with THIS. I stamped a sentiment from THIS set that coordinated with the rainbow.

It's hard to see in the photograph but I used some of THIS translucent embossing paste with THIS all time favorite stencil for a tone-on-tone background...

If you have kiddos in school...I hope this inspires you to spoil their teacher not just on special occasions, but all year long. I think this design would work great for any occasion though. Just replace the die-cut word on the rainbow to fit your need.

Thanks so for stopping by and have a great day.
