I Love Hero Arts-Day Three-GIVEAWAY

Hi there. It’s already the third day of the week long celebration of one of my favorite stamp companies, Hero Arts. I worked with the latest My Monthly Hero kit for Day One, but today’s cards features last month’s kit goodies…

I wanted to create some simple thank you cards to have on hand. I used the large thank you sentiment stamp as the focal point and inked it up with different Distress inks. If you’ve ever tried to stamp with Distress Inks, you may have found that the images don’t stamp all that well. Thankfully, now that THIS tool is on the market, that is no longer an issue. I just repeatedly kept stamping in the same spot to get good coverage. I even stamped on watercolor paper which has some texture to it.

I kept the rest of the card very simple and stamped a coordinating greeting and a few black hearts. I added some of THIS on top for some shine and mounted it to a black note card. The MISTI made the stamping easy as well as the mass production.

The kit I used for this has sold out…it went fast! However, you could use any large and solid sentiment stamp for this. Let’s keep this party going with a giveaway! …

GIVEAWAY
Some of you may or may not know but Hero Arts sold stamps using my handwriting awhile ago (You can read the whole story HERE) and I have one of THESE stamps featuring my handwriting to giveaway! Just leave a comment below telling me your favorite stamp you own from Hero Arts. You have until Sunday, June 12th at midnight to enter. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow with another Hero Arts project and Giveaway…

Gorgeous cards Heather! I love the large sentiment paired with the typographic smaller sentiment. Very inspiring. My favorite Hero Arts stamp that I own is a polka dot background stamp.

I'm am just starting to build my Hero Arts collection, and there are so many stamps I'd love to get. Choosing from what I currently own, my favorites are: Tiny Star Background stamp (I'm named after the Greek mythological queen and constellation Cassiopeia, so I'm drawn to things with star motifs!), and the Stamp & Cut Anchor set. (My grandfather, who is my hero, was in the Navy; I wear anchors in honor and remembrance of him.) Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us, Heather! You are always a fantastic source of inspiration!

How CLEVER to make an INKY rainbow with Distress Inks – LOVE IT!!! I have a MISTI currently in transit, hoping it will arrive next week, so I can't wait to try my hand at trying this technique!!!
Your handwriting is quite lovely and it was wonderful to read the story behind your fun stamp, a very true sentiment too!!! I only have a few HA stamp sets, my favourite is Flower Garden with the pretty little flowers and the happy hello sentiment. It is great for making beautiful backgrounds.
THANK YOU for the INKY INSPIRATION and the chance to win 🙂
