I Love Hero Arts-Day 5-Wrap Up

I can’t believe the I Love Hero Arts week is coming to an end. I’ve had so much fun this week and hope you have to! Make sure to check out all the previous days for more Hero Arts projects and giveaways…

DAY ONE
DAY TWO
DAY THREE
DAY FOUR

Today’s cards are perfect for heading into the weekend and summer…

THIS set from Hero Arts is so fun and I thought it would be a perfect pairing with THESE and THESE shaker card parts. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Abandoned Coral, and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks as watercolors to create the drinks and spritzed on water to create “bleached” spots to resemble bubbles. I white heat embossed the ice cubes from the stamp set on vellum and added lots of pretty shaker bits inside. I stamped the straw and umbrella images from the set to complete the look…

THIS is a Christmas stamp set from Hero Arts, but the Cheers sentiment worked perfectly…

Click HERE to see it in action.
Here’s a closer look…
I finished the inside of the card too to match the front…
I hope this week has inspired you to create your own I Love Hero Arts project.
Thanks again for spending this week with me. Cheers!

Heather- Thanks for sharing more fun cards with us. I love the fact that you used the "Cheers" stamp that was part of a Christmas set! It reminds us to take a good look at our stash and use our products in as many ways as possible. I immediately thought of the MANY "Winter Wonderland" sentiment stamps I have, and how I can simply mask off the word "winter" and only stamp the word "Wonderland"! This allows me to get a lot more use out of something that I usually only pull out in winter. Thanks, as always, for the inspiration!!!

Ooh these are so cool. I have made shakers but nothing outside of a square or rectangle. So innovative!

… I've been learning more about these shaker elements, they really are COOL!!!
I think it's great how you stamped the straw & umbrella on the front to match inside. I expect the MISTI made aligning inside & out perfectly an easy task 🙂
