Each card was created with the same technique, I just mixed up the design. I started by stamping the images on a die-cut piece of THIS cardstock. I used THESE markers to color in the image and then sprayed the image with water. I let the watercolor spread over the panel to create a background.
After the watercolor was completely dry, I used my MISTI and stamped directly on top with the same black ink to make the images pop. I finished off the cards by matting the die-cut pieces in black and adding some of the plaid patterned paper to the card base at an angle.
I finished off the cards by adding a coat of THIS shimmer on top of all the images and adhering a few sequins. I used THIS die to create the pierced strip in the background.
I love using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers for this technique because the colors are so vibrant!
This is what I love about card kits...you can create many cards with just one box of supplies! I also made a set of teacher thank you notes with this kit that I will share soon.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
P.S. The winner of the Lawn Fawn cardstock from THIS post is DENISE WARD. Congrats! Email me your address so I can send you your goodies. :)
