Multi Color Ink Pads plus GIVEAWAY

Hello. Today I’m sharing a few cards using multi color ink pads along with an inlaid die-cutting technique.
For the first two cards, I used THIS stamp set along with THESE coordinating dies. I created a stitched border around the edge of the black cardstock using THIS die. I die-cut the word from the center of the black cardstock and from a piece of white cardstock. I applied the ink straight from the pad on top of the white die-cut, moving it back and forth slightly to get the colors to blend. Leaving the die in the negative space makes this step easier and prevents the die from shifting.
After it was dry, I adhered it into place on the black cardstock panel. I heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set in white and added an epoxy heart for a finishing touch. I also used the same ink pad and THIS mini hearts background stamp to create a colorful, coordinating background.

A closer look…

I also want to share another example of this technique using THIS Ombre Ink pad from Hero Arts. I used it to add color to the word “Love“…

I finished off this card using THIS stamp set for a coordinating sentiment and THESE enamel hearts.

I hope this inspires you to break out your multi color ink pads to create some fast coloring! Now how about a Giveaway!?

I love the blue /green card the best. I have been thinking of trying the ink. This convinced me to try it. Love the first card.
