White Ink on Kraft Cardstock

Hi there. Today I have two cards to share. Same design using a different color palette….

I love the look of white ink on kraft cardstock. I decided to test out two different white inks when using THIS striped background stamp. The purple card on the left uses THIS white pigment ink. The pink card on the right uses THIS staz-on ink. I found that the unicorn pigment ink gives a nice, almost “ghost like” look. The white Staz-on ink gives more of a crisp, bold white. I like them both and it simply comes down to on personal preference. I just thought I would share a comparison to give you a closer look…
Here’s the white pigment ink…

 …and the white Staz-on ink…

After stamping the background on to THIS cardstock, I die-cut and stamped the sentiment using THIS stamp set. I used THIS new heart die from Simon Says Stamp and cut it from two shades of one color to create a shadow effect on each card. I finished off the cards by creating the base using THIS die and adhered a few of THESE embellishments.
A closer look…
I hope this has inspired you to do some white stamping on kraft cardstock. Thanks so much for stopping by.
