Neat and Tangled Release Week- Day One

Hello! Have you heard!? Neat and Tangled will be releasing new stamps and dies all week. I’m thrilled to be included and can’t wait to share all the projects I’ve been working on. This stamp set has quickly become one of my favorites…

It’s called Faceted. It’s a larger stamp set (6×8) and I love that there are so many greeting possibilities. I thought the background pattern was screaming for some watercolor so I broke out my Zig Clean Color Markers to create the first card…

I heat embossed the pattern using white embossing powder on to watercolor cardstock. I traced each image with the markers and used a wet paint brush to pull the color in. I finished it off with a black frame created from the negative portion from one of THESE dies.

The greeting continues to the inside where I stamped the rest of the greeting along with an image from THIS older Neat and Tangled set. I love pairing newer sets with older ones….

I created a similar card but used a different watercolor technique. I added water to several different distress inks and painted them on in stripes…

A closer look…

I continued the greeting on the inside pairing it up with an image from THIS set…

Neat and Tangled are also releasing some really cool Bokeh vellum circles…

Make sure to check out the Neat and Tangled Blog HERE for more information.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow…
