Quick Crafty Tips- Keeping Tidy

Hello. I hope you had a great weekend. I’m back with another quick tip. (If you’re new to my blog, click HERE and HERE to see my previous quick crafty tips.) This one is all about keeping tidy.

I’m one of those people that has to clean up my work station before starting another project. However, sometimes I have deadlines and have multiple projects going on at once. I find that I’m not very creative when things are not organized, so I went searching for something that would help me keep projects separated.

I had a few of these plastic trays left over from my son’s third birthday party…

They were the perfect size to sort my projects and keep them tidy. For example, here are my leftovers from the SSS June card kit. (You can see my projects using the kit HERE and HERE) I’m not ready to tuck the remaining product away yet, so I keep it in this tray on my work table…

These trays make it so easy to clean up quickly and move on to another project, keeping all the materials together so you can come back to it. I purchased these trays at Party City and they were very inexpensive. However, you could use things you already have around the house. Experiment and see what works best for you.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Good idea. I am totally messy. This would be great to keep things together for the many projects I start & don't finish for awhile. That is !y focus right now is get more organized & finish all the partly finished things. I have some containers for the embellishments & small stuff for projects going on.

I do love an organized desk, but sadly that doesn't happen at my house. Thankfully, I either take inspiration from the chaos and use up pieces, or get so frustrated I'm forced to clean, even a little bit, then keep going.

For you neat people, this is a great idea! 🙂
