Double Take- Lawn Fawn’s Here’s the Scoop

Hi and welcome. Today I’m bringing back what I like to call, “Double Take”. It’s where I create two different cards with one stamp set. I’m featuring THIS adorable stamp set for today’s cards…

Too cute. Here is my first card…

I decided to go bold and bright on this one because those colors make me happy. I stamped the images in THIS ink and heat embossed them using clear embossing powder. This helps keep the watercolor in the right areas. I chose “skittles” colors from THIS awesome watercolor set to color in the Popsicles.

I decided to keep the background simple since my images are so bold. I stamped THIS background stamp using black ink on a piece of THIS cardstock. I heat embossed a sentiment from the same set in white on a banner that I die-cut from THIS die set. A closer look…

I chose a softer color palette for my next card…

I stamped the ice-cream images on to different patterned papers from THIS paper pad. I adhered them to a white panel I cut with THIS fun die. I created a background using a couple of heart images in the stamp set.

I finished off the card by adding THIS to the ice-cream tops along with THIS for some added shine. A closer look…

There you have it. Two totally different looks using the same stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
