Quick Crafty Tips- Watercolor

I’m introducing a new series to my blog called, QUICK CRAFTY TIPS, where I share a simple crafty tip. I’m in no way reinventing the wheel…just sharing what I found that works for me in hopes it may help you as well.

I love to watercolor on my projects. I used to use a mason jar filled with water to rinse off my brush in between changing colors of watercolor. I didn’t really like it because I felt like I could never get the brush completely clean and the previous color sometimes mixed with the new color. However, I recently picked up this ice cube tray at Marshalls in the clearance section (for under two dollars) and I LOVE it!

Having all those sections of clean water really helps keep my brush clean and the plastic in between the sections is awesome for mixing colors on.
Hopefully you will give an inexpensive ice cube tray a try the next time you watercolor! Thanks for stopping by!
