Inspired by OCC- Card #4

Today's card was inspired by Day 2 of Clean and Simple 4 class. Kristina shared a fun die-cut technique that I wanted to try...
I've had THIS stamp set on my desk to use for quite some time and finally got to play with it! I just love that Yeti! I stamped him on to some Neenah White Solar Cardstock using THIS ink. I colored him in with some Copics and cut him out. I stamped the sentiment using the same black ink on to a word bubble that I die-cut using THIS die. I replaced the heart with one of THESE hearts. I used THIS stencil to create falling snow in the background using some white embossing paste. I die-cut scalloped strips, adhering them together with a small gap to resemble mounds of snow. I used a hole punch to punch eight small circles that I covered with THIS to create snowballs.

Here's a closer look...
I wanted to created some texture on the mounds of snow so I traced over the tops of the scallops with THIS and THIS and mixed them up with my finger. I love the texture it adds. I finished off the card by adhering some patterned paper strips to THIS note card and adhering the panel on top with foam adhesive

That's all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!
