Inspired by OCC- Card #1

(Click HERE for more info.)

Hello! Raise your hand if you are taking the latest Online Card ClassClean and Simple 4! I’ve been so inspired by every single technique shared that I can’t keep up with all of the ideas that are popping in my head! I thought it would be fun to do several days of card shares inspired by this awesome class.

Today’s card is inspired by a technique that Yana Smakula shared in class….

I die-cut THIS die several times from Neenah Solar White Cardstock and adhered them down repeatedly in a diagonal pattern. I love the tone on tone look…

I finished the card off by embossing a strip of black cardstock with a sentiment from THIS set. I also added a stamped heart from a limited edition Lawn Fawn set that I stamped in THIS ink and clear heat embossed.

TIP: Use colored fun foam! I adhered a piece of hot pink fun foam under my card panel before adhering it to a black note card. Not only does this give dimension but letting some of that pink show on the sides gives it a finished look and ties in with the pink heart. Something fun and different!

Oh, and the winner of the Sew Easy kit is Teri Wilde! Congrats. Click the CONTACT ME button and send me your address.

That’s it for today. Stay tuned because I have MANY more cards to share inspired by this class. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I really like your take on this technique – and I was very inspired by your card to create my own: http://ancema.dk/2015/02/occ-clean-and-simple-4-die-cut-background/
