Inspired by OCC- Card #2

Hello! As promised, I’m back today with another card inspired by Clean and Simple 4.  Jennifer McGuire taught an embossing technique on Day 7 that was so clever. Here is my take on it…

I used some of THIS yummy cardstock as my base and used THIS die to create a scalloped frame. I heat embossed THIS sentiment in the center using THIS awesome embossing powder. I die-cut three balloons from THIS die using some Doodlebug paper. I heat embossed parts of the sentiment on each balloon using clear embossing powder. After tying the ends with THIS thread, I adhered the balloons in the correct spot using foam adhesive…popping up the gray balloon a bit higher than the green one. A closer look…

I finished off the card by stamping a few of the stars from THIS set using THIS ink. I added foam adhesive to the back of the panel before adhering it to THIS note card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow with another card share.
