Stretching Border Stamps

The Little Tangles Challenge Blog announced their first challenge of the new year and introduced their new design team. I’m happy to say that I’ve decided to stay on as their Design Team Leader this year! I love Neat and Tangled Stamps and I’m ecstatic that sweet Danielle asked me back.

I made three cards for the challenge…

For all three cards I used THIS stamp set…

Merry and Bright

I used the curved border image and stamped it three times in one direction and three times in the opposite direction to create a background on to some watercolor cardstock using VersaFine black ink. I heat embossed it in clear to give it some shine.

I spaced the stamping on all three cards differently so you could see how easily you can alter the look…

I used my Peerless Watercolors and mixed two primary colors to get a secondary color in between on each card. I finished off the card by stamping the “hello” sentiment from the Everyday Labels stamp set in the same black ink and clear heat embossed it to match the background.

I hope you can play along in the Little Tangles Saying Hello Challenge. Go HERE to enter your project. Remember, the winner receives a Neat and Tangled Stamp Set of their choice!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
