Creating Texture plus GIVEAWAY

Hello! Today’s card puts a different spin on a sewing tool. I recently purchased this Sew Easy Kit at Target from We R Memory Keepers…

…while I’m excited to try out sewing on my cards, I wanted to find another way to use the tool. The rolling tool creates holes in the cardstock for sewing, so I thought it would be fun to do it all over the background of a card to create some texture….

I used the straight line rolling head and randomly rolled it all over the white cardstock. It gives such a fun texture…

This would also be fun to try in the the other stitched designs included in the kit (Zig Zag, Scallop, and Loop). Oh, and all of the awesome stamped images are from THIS stamp set by Mama Elephant.

WANT TO WIN A SEW EASY KIT?
Just leave a comment to this blog post telling me your favorite color combo to be entered to win. You have until Sunday, February 1st at Midnight EST to enter. Good Luck and thanks for stopping by!

HAHA! I love how you've used the hole puncher thingy! Great idea. And if I'd thought of it, I wouldn't have given away my own set of these. But no, I don't want to win! 🙂

Very fun and I love having an inexpensive sewing option. Since i don't sew, I really don't want to buy a sewing machine. My favorite color combo is amethyst purple and lime green.
