SSS Better Together Release + GIVEAWAY…

Hello! I have LOTS of projects to share today, so let’s get to it…

Have you heard!? Simon Says Stamp‘s newest release, Better Together, is available today! You can read all about it HERE and purchase the product HERE.

Heidi was sweet enough to send me some of this product to play with and I created five cards. (Three of them are pictured in the advertisement above! Woot! Woot!)
My favorite set from this collection is THIS one. Those monsters stole my heart. I used the set and the coordinating dies to make this card…

I used my Mister Huey’s spray mists to create a fun background on a piece of Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock. I colored in one of the monsters with colored pencils and used a black marker to color in the open letters of the greeting. It’s a great way to get a new look and stretch your stamps! I finished off the card with some wood veneer hearts that I applied black enamel accents to. Here’s a closer look…

I used the same stamp set to create my next card…

I colored in the image with my Copic Markers and die-cut some grass for the bottom of the mailbox pole. I finished off the card by die-cutting THIS word die and stamping a coordinating sentiment from the Monster Hugs stamp set in black ink. I used a heart from the die set to top off the “i” in the greeting…

The next card uses THIS stamp and die set called, Love Makes A Home….

I stamped and embossed the image on some Watercolor Cardstock and used my Peerless Watercolors to “color” in the image. I die-cut the heart from the coordinating die set and adhered it on top of the chimney with foam adhesive for some dimension…

I knew I wanted to create a shaker card when I saw THIS die…
For the sentiment, I heat embossed one from THIS stamp set and used THIS stencil to create the tone-on-tone background on the notecard.
I love to create a background using small images in a stamp set. I used THIS set to create the background on my final card…
A closer look…
Isn’t that large sentiment beautiful!? I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder and I just love it paired with the purple inks from Hero Arts. (Grape Juice and Raspberry Jam Ink)
NOW FOR A GIVEAWAY!
I think THIS stamp set would make a great addition to the Better Together Release and I have an extra one to share….
Just leave a comment to this post by Tuesday, December 16th at midnight EST EXTENDED DEADLINE– Thursday December 18th at midnight EST telling me which card is your favorite to be entered to win. Good luck!
