Mama Elephant Week- Day Two

Hello. I’m back today with a card for Day Two of Mama Elephant Week. I have THREE cards to share with you all using THIS adorable stamp set along with THIS coordinating sentiment set…

Cute little critters and cupcakes? Yes please! 🙂
For my first card…
…I used THIS die and weaved some patterned paper from THIS pad through the slots to create a background. I used THIS die to create a scalloped border behind it and THIS die to create the word bubbles. I did a small amount of coloring on the bunny and used white enamel accents as the cupcake frosting. I added a few pearls in the enamel accents while it was still wet to act as an adhesive to hold them in. I finished it off with some glossy accents on the wrapper and some Neat and Tangled Sequins
I used the same design concept for the rest of the cards…

…but on this card I used the same background die as it was intended and colored the critter with colored pencils and gamsol. The frosting was created using Stickles and I finished it off with some Epoxy Shapes

For my last card…

….I used the negative pieces cut from THIS pad of paper from the die and rotated one of them for a whole new look! I didn’t color the image this time, but I did add Liquid Pearls to make the sheep “fluffy” and stuck an epoxy bow in her hair…

These three different cards using the same stamps and dies are a good example on how you can stretch our supplies!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I’ll be back for Day Three tomorrow…
