Tag! You’re It!

It’s all about tags over on the Little Tangles Challenge Blog. I recently received THIS fun stamp set and thought I could incorporate a tag in a playful way…

I’ve had that airplane die for awhile and was waiting for the right time to use it! I thought it would be fun to create a tag out of a banner that the airplane is pulling…

To create this card was actually very simple. I heat embossed the clouds from the set on some watercolor cardstock in white and added different colors of  Distress Inks in rainbow order. (I used Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, and Peacock Feathers.) I spritzed the entire piece lightly with some water to get the colors to blend a bit. Then I added the black airplane die cut. I tied some string around the end and added an eyelet to the banner so I could attach them together. I finished it off with a sentiment from the set.

I wanted to continue the theme to the inside, so I stamped THIS stamp in yellow and added a cloud die-cut (several layered together) in front of the rays with a sentiment.
