A dream come true…

Hello! Today I wanted to share something very special to me. I wrote THIS post a few weeks ago about the craft retreat I attend twice a year and the gift I created for all my friends. Well I wasn’t the only one who brought a gift. My sweet friend Jennifer (my fairy “craft”mother) contacted me before the trip to create some handwriting samples because she wanted Hero Arts to create a stamp just for us. Seeing my handwriting on a stamp from Hero Arts?! Um. Yes please. 🙂

So when I arrived, the stamp was on my desk. I immediately started to play with it and embossed it in different colors…

 I also created a card set…

I used THIS Marker Spritzer tool to apply a “graffiti like” look over the embossed sentiment. Super simple cards that make the sentiment pop. After I got home from the retreat, my friends started sending me cards featuring my handwriting stamp. So cool. These two are from Nichol Magourik and Debby Hughes

I’ve received several more cards and I put them all on a spinner in my craft room. The two featured here are from Lisa Stein and Joy Ott

It’s so neat to see something you create become a product and have it manufactured from a stamp company that you love and admire. Good stuff.

And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, my fairy “craft”mother said Hero Arts will be selling a few stamps with my handwriting for their Christmas catalog. A dream come true. More on that in the future…

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!
